Brittens Music, Tunbridge Wells, Raises More Than £200 For Charity
Brittens Music raised £201 for the renal unit at Guy’s Hospital in London at a one-off performance, With Bells On, by the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain when they stopped off at the Assembly Hall Theatre in Tunbridge Wells as part of their UK tour.
Brittens were proud to support the event with a stand in the foyer selling ukuleles and accessories. Included in the goodies were charity raffle tickets, with a chance to win a ukulele, donated by Brittens.
One of the members of the orchestra read out the winning ticket on stage – a green 63 – and a very lucky Mike Fullalove won a Barnes & Mullins ukulele named The Greese, which was signed by the entire orchestra, and presented to him after the concert by Andrew Collins, owner of Brittens Music.
