Countdown To Canterbury Festival
An eclectic line-up of music and performing arts talent is set to take to the stage at this year’s Canterbury Festival, which comes to the city between 20th October-3rd November.
The Festival’s much-appreciated 1920s Spiegeltent venue will also be returning and will host performances from comedians Seann Walsh and Simon Evans, Lady Luck Cabaret, and sax player Yolanda Brown. This year will also feature a series of talks with radio presenter David Suchet, historian David Starkey, BBC broadcaster Alice Roberts, Blue Planet wildlife cameraman Doug Allan, and ‘Angry Chef’ Anthony Warner.
The spotlight remains on local talent with Made in Kent, which continues to celebrate talented local performers. “Whether it’s a thrilling classical concert or a risque cabaret, there’s something in the line-up to appeal to all tastes and ages,” said Festival Director Rosie Turner.
