Welcome in 2019 at 'Hug-Many' on The Pantiles
The organisers of the amazing family New Year’s Eve event ‘Hug-Many’ on The Pantiles are delighted to announce that Oomphf, one of the UK’s best live bands from Brighton, will be live on stage to help revellers countdown into 2019.
Following on from its success in previous years, celebration is back with Live Band, DJ, Lasers, Countdown Clock, Piper and Fantastic Firework Display. Cafes, pubs and restaurants in The Pantiles will be open and ready to welcome those looking for a truly memorable night out and raising money for local charities including The Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre, ellenor and Macmillian Cancer Support.
Ian Andrew, Founder of ‘Hug-Many’, said: “This is our fifth ‘Hug-Many’ and the event goes from strength-to-strength each year. I want everybody, adults and children alike, to have a great fun evening, and at the same time raise as much money as possible for the less fortunate who need some help.
“This year we are hoping to raise £50,000 and from that the profits will all go to charity, and so, as well as the donations we receive on the night, we need the help and support of local businesses. We are looking for businesses to help sponsor the event to ensure that as much of the money as possible raised on the night goes to charity.”
The event starts at 7pm on 31st December and concludes at 12.30am on 1st January 2019. Adults are asked to donate £10 and all children go free.
