Performing at The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle are Courtney Pine, Miloš Karadagliš & Mica Paris – and we’ve got three pairs of tickets to give away
Over the May Bank Holiday weekend (25th-27th May) icons of jazz Mica Paris, Courtney Pine (with special guest Omar) and classical guitarist Miloš Karadagliš will be performing as part of the Rye International Jazz & Blues Festival for the first time at Hever – and INDEX has a pair of tickets to each show to give away.
• Kicking off the star-studded line-up on Saturday 25th is a special jazz concert with multi-instrumentalist Courtney Pine CBE, who will be performing with UK soul star Omar, whose hit single There’s Nothing Like This established a truly unique and instantly recognisable ‘signature’ sound that has since earned him widespread critical acclaim.
• Firmly positioned as a leading exponent of his instrument, ‘The hottest guitarist in the world’ (Sunday Times), Miloš Karadagliš, continues to top record charts and delight audiences worldwide – and takes to the stage at Hever on Sunday 26th May. He will perform solo and with Ensemble7, a seven-piece string ensemble.
• Rounding off the Bank Holiday live entertainment on Monday 27th May is Mica Paris Sings Ella Fitzgerald – a unique celebration to Ella’s wonderful songs such as Imagine My Frustration and Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye, Summer Time and classics from the American songbook.
• Tickets are priced £35 (grass area) and £45 (covered). Gates open at 6.30pm, performances start at 8pm. For more information, visit ryejazz.com
