TMC Invests £1/2m In To Tunbridge Wells
The Mayor and Mayoress of Tunbridge Wells, Councillor Len Horwood and Mrs Horwood, are set to open The Massage Company’s (TMC) new centre when it launches in the town next month, creating 20-30 jobs.
TMC is expanding their UK base with the launch of a second dedicated massage centre with a £500,000 investment in Tunbridge Wells. Treatments are available in one of 14 treatment rooms, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports and maternity massages – all available seven days a week, 12 hours a day (except Sunday, 10am-6pm). There is also a duo treatment room, which allows couples or friends to experience a massage together, which is popular for birthdays and special occasions.
Paul Nicholson from Savills London office and Darrell Barber from Bracketts coordinated the deal for the 200-year-old brewery site on Monson Road. With easy parking nearby and 4,000sq ft of space, customers have a large bright reception area and multiple treatment rooms allowing them to easily fit treatments into their daily lives.
Taran Bassi is the owner of the business, the first franchisee of The Massage Company, and has been through 12 months of training, working in and managing the company’s first centre in Camberley, Surrey. Taran chose Tunbridge Wells as the first of three locations due to the excellent and thriving town and position as a destination shopping centre.
