Prestigious Accolade for the ABode
ABode Canterbury is celebrating after being awarded three AA rosettes, joining just 10% of all AA rated hotels across the UK to hold the accolade.
Presented at a glittering ceremony hosted by Claudia Winkleman at Grosvenor House in London, the award is particularly notable as it is the first time three AA rosettes have been awarded to a restaurant in the ABode Hotels group.
In receiving the award, ABode Canterbury’s restaurant was commended on being an ‘outstanding restaurant that achieves standards that demand national recognition well beyond its local area’. Criteria to be awarded three AA rosettes also listed that cooking ‘must be underpinned by the selection and sympathetic treatment of the highest quality ingredients and that timing, seasoning and the judgement of flavour combinations are consistently excellent’.
Declan Kelly, General Manager of ABode Canterbury, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded three AA rosettes for our restaurant and I warmly congratulate our hugely talented head chef Jauca Catalin and his kitchen team. Relentlessly creating innovative menus, Jauca’s dishes are fresh, creative and exciting and I’m just delighted that all their hard work has been recognised by the AA.”
The restaurant at ABode Canterbury is open daily for dinner and from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch, with tasting, a la carte and prix fixe menus on offer.
