Vine Romance: The Vine Inn, Tenterden
What’s not to love about The Vine Inn? Situated on the high street of the historic market town of Tenterden it provides a warm welcome for locals and visitors alike.
With ample parking situated right beside the pub, a coach stop too, The Vine is convenient and with separate bar and restaurant areas as well as cosy corners, provides a perfect place to stop and rest tired feet after a morning shopping or exploring the nearby steam railway.
Serving a selection of cask ales from Faversham-based brewers Shepherd Neame and a wide wine selection and striking new menu cooked by Head Chef Daniel Millen, The Vine is happy to accommodate parties large and small for any occasion – whether it be a quick bite to eat or a celebratory meal. The food offering combines a good selection of light bites with a perhaps less expected country pub offering with dishes such as crispy crumbed pork belly and smoked bacon Scotch egg sitting alongside naturally smoked haddock fillets with creamed potato puree served in a dill butter sauce. Of course you can also get a hearty portion of ham, egg and chips, sirloin steaks and traditional fish and chips… the idea here is that whatever your needs, The Vine has something to satisfy you!
