Men's Health Week

Men’s Health Week runs every year in the week before Father’s Day – and this year it takes place from 10th-16th June. Led by the Men’s Health Forum, the purpose of the week is to raise awareness of preventable health issues and encourage men and boys to seek professional advice for health-related problems.

It’s a frightening statistic: one man in five dies before the age of 65. Recognising and preventing men’s health problems is not just a man’s issue – because of its impact on partners, wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, it is also a family issue.

The Men’s Health Forum is a charity which supports men’s health in England, Wales and Scotland. In the previous few years Men’s Health Week has focused on diabetes (2018), hazardous waist (2017) and beating stress (2016) – this year, it’s inequality. #menshealthweek
